2020 has been one helluva year. I don't need to explain further.
My heart goes out to all those people who have been marginalised in some way or another by the effects of the virus and lockdowns globally. Firstly, there are those who were isolated from friends or loved ones. Then those who lost jobs or had their income reduced or their business couldn't survive the knocks. Spare a thought for those who lost loved ones.
The stats for suicide in previous years revealed that 1 man dies from suicide every minute in the world. I don't know what the post-covid era stats are like but I'm pretty sure that the suicide rate must be up as a result of the above-mentioned factors.
Please - don't become a statistic or let a friend become one. Be aware, ask for help, and follow your gut feel if you're concerned about others.
It’s great to have had you on board for 2018!
Without your support, none of what we do would be possible! We appreciate everything you have done.
Let’s make the last few days of Mo-ing count!
